PRAYER NEEDED

PRAYER NEEDED.  Let’s pray for this family in need.  Pray for wisdom for the doctors and healing for the son.  Pray for a miracle.  God is in the job of miracles. After all He is “The Great Physician”!  Most importantly pray for God’s will and for the families strength and faith to accept that if it means no miracle or healing. But since we know that God loves His children we stand with them believing that love will mean a yes to healing.

Our ways are not His ways nor our thoughts His thoughts.  So we must be ready if  God sees fit not to heal.  That doesn’t mean He loves that person any less than any other it just means that He has a different path for them to follow  and to grow from no matter how painful that path may be.  As Paul prayed for the thorn in his side to be removed, he learned it was not God’s will to remove it and look at the ministry he had with it.

Likewise it is not ours to decide who will be healed and who won’t that is why we join as one and pray for healing until it is answered.  One way or another.

  1. Hi Joy yes I will pray for this boy and for his Mother who is very distressed with seeing her son in pain, perhaps this is even harder then being in pain ourselves, when we Love deeply we want the very best for our Loved ones and not to see them suffer or have hardship, it would not be what we willingly allow or plan. How beautiful Joy is your compassion for them.

I also agree with you Joy and have no doubt that God heals Miraculously as well as Medically, having been healed more than once, all medically documented but I was healed in a Miraculous way and the Doctors were unable to explain how my life threatening conditions disappeared overnight and also deep skin cancer but I’m still disabled from birth and as my body is wearing out with age it increases but God knows how much I can endure and strengthens me as He did Job and many others, my Spirit is strong and is not weary. Isaiah 40:29-31 I have also experienced personally signs and wonders that were witnessed by others but unable to be explained, confirming God does indeed work in Miraculous ways today. Jesus also heals and cleanses our soul, our spirit, our emotional hurts and wounds afflicted by Satan and others who sin against us and we do not see these outwardly except wonderfully by a Transformed life.

Yes what you said Joy is True as we remember Paul shared about his thorn, 2 Corinthians 12:7- 10 God sometimes does not heal and we do need to confess sins so we can be healed, James 5:16. Paul also said to Timothy to have wine for health reasons, it is believed he had an ulcer 1 Timothy 5 : 23

Wonderfully also we can know God’s heart and His the good He has planed for us today because we have The Holy Spirit and God’s wisdom if we have asked and believed but also because we have the mind of Christ. 1Corinthians 2:9-16.

    1. Anne, may I just say sister that I love you and your heart! I too have been healed emotionally and spiritually and physically and other things God’s chosen to leave as a way to keep me dependent on Him and for that I’m grateful. Not that I would choose them but He knows best.
They also give me an opportunity for ministry.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is my fervent prayer to be an encouragement to others and if God allowed that to happen with you, to Him be the glory.

  2. Hi Joy, thanks for your encouragement, God is indeed very mindful of our well being and the Scriptures tell us He does not willingly allow suffering and hardship or cause it, sickness also is not by His hand but as you said and so does the Scripture, He makes all things work for good, He knows how much we can endure and strengthens us.

If God was to stop all evil, including sickness etc He would have to stop the world which He will do soon as we can see all around but He is patient not wanting anyone to perish, but we never go through anything alone ( see below) when we are tested by Satan He is with us through it all, as He was with Job, Paul etc

Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

Psalm 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made Heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne
